Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from EEI (Escola de Engenharia Industrial de São José dos Campos) with specialization in Operational Research from ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica), also graduated in Law from UNIVAP (Universidade do Vale do Paraíba) and attending to specialization in Corporate Law at GV Law (Getúlio Vargas Law School). Has been working at Embraer Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A., for more than twenty-six years, having performed several jobs in different positions, especially at the Industrial and Commercial Areas. Has acted as Director of Contracts for the Commercial Aviation Market for many years and as Vice-President of the Commercial Aviation Market from 2002 until May 2005. He is currently Executive Vice-President & General Counsel of Embraer’s Group, and Secretary of Embraer’s Board, since May 2005.
