As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,
Firmadge is responsible for leading the EES financial planning, risk management, contracts management, records management, and human resources activities across the company. These responsibilities include compiling and communicating on-going financial performance and long-range financial forecasts. Having extensive experience in the legal, financial, and contract management professions, Firmadge brings broad experience in corporate business operations and accountability. Firmadge started his career as a Judicial Clerk for the United States Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. After a successful tenure with the Court, Firmadge served as Assistant General Counsel with the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service, where he had legal oversight for employer-related causes of action in the western region of the country. While working as an attorney for O'Brien, Birney and Butler, he became heavily involved in the business end of the primary clients he represented--corporations. He had primary responsibility for safeguarding the client companies' reserves, and oversaw over one thousand active lawsuits on a continual basis. Firmadge became the Corporate Treasurer and General Counsel of an international lending institution, responsible for investing the company's assets and protecting its holdings in over 26 countries. Most recently, Firmadge was the Deputy Program Manager and Divisional Business Manager for the Integration Services division of RS Information Services. In his spare time, Firmadge pursues his interest in flying. |
