Experience:
Fiona Holland has a multinational corporate practice that focuses on business combinations and corporate finance transactions. She assists clients from all business sectors. Fiona has a special emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and public takeovers, advising her clients on deal structure, financing and regulatory approvals. She has substantial knowledge of the UK regulatory structure, including the Takeover Code and the Prospectus, Disclosure and Listing Rules.
Fiona’s corporate finance work ranges from IPOs to secondary equity fundraisings. She has advised corporates, sponsors and NOMADs on admissions to trading on the AIM, a market of the London Stock Exchange, and listings on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.
Fiona joined Mayer Brown’s London office in 1998, becoming a partner in 2001, and she has worked in the New York office. Prior to joining the firm, Fiona worked at firms in London and Edinburgh, and had been seconded to a major global insurer based in Scotland. She is proficient in French.
