Mr. Zakariya joined Advent in 1999 and focuses on investments in the communications, software and electronics sectors. He has participated in six investments since joining Advent. Mr. Zakariya is currently a director of Seranoa Networks and Entigo Corp. and represents Advent on the board of Nauticus Networks. Before joining Advent, he was with Dillon Read Venture Capital in New York . While at Dillon Read he served on the board of two portfolio companies and participated in eight completed transactions. He has also worked as an investment banker at CS First Boston, where he executed debt and equity financings and M&A transactions for various clients. Mr. Zakariya has also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in their New York office. Mr. Zakariya received a BA in economics from Haverford College and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania 's Wharton School. |
