Eve Fichtner is a senior counsel in the Sacramento office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Ms. Fichtner is an experienced attorney representing school districts, county offices of education, community colleges and private employers on personnel matters, student issues and discrimination claims. She provides representation on employee discipline and dismissal, leave issues, fingerprinting, unfair practices, student discipline issues, release of public records, drug testing, contract review, and search and seizure law. Ms. Fichtner has special training in employment investigations as well. She has represented clients before state courts and administrative bodies. Eve has served as a hearing officer in student expulsions and expulsion appeals. She has prepared and presented workshops on a variety of topics, including investigation training, sexual harassment prevention training, fingerprinting, free speech/religion, Brown Act, employee evaluation, student discipline and ADA/FMLA. Eve served as a senior associate attorney at Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard prior to joining the firm. She is a former board member of the California Council of School Attorneys and a former board member for the Transitional Living and Community Support Group. |
