Eugene Boohoff is an experienced restructuring advisor who has advised public and private middle market and multi-billion dollar companies and their creditors and lenders. He has provided assistance analyzing cash flow requirements, preparing and evaluating business plans, projecting asset recoveries and supporting litigation for debtors, lenders and other interested parties in a variety of industries, including retail, construction, natural resources, real estate and telecommunications. Prior to joining Goldin, Mr. Boohoff worked at Bederson & Company, LLP in the Insolvency and Litigation Support Group advising trustees and receivers on various financial, accounting and tax matters during financial investigations, asset recoveries and liquidations. Key assignments included helping to restructure a midsize distributor of building insulation materials and working of the bankruptcy of a mine operator. Mr. Boohoff advised attorneys during multiple litigation proceedings arising out of real estate transaction disputes and prepared expert reports. In addition, he co-led a consulting project on behalf of the City of Newark in connection with analysis of bond financing transactions relating to a municipal construction project. He has assisted physician practice groups with financial analysis and reporting, including medical billing, utilization and healthcare compliance matters. Mr. Boohoff began his career at KPMG, LLP in the assurance advisory group with a focus on financial institutions. He continued at KPMG Corporate Recovery Group, where he assisted lenders and other creditors in bankruptcy cases, including The Warnaco Group, Inc. and Global Crossing, Ltd. He is a CPA and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. He received a BBA in Accounting from Pace University. |
