Eugen Beckert, a native of Germany,has worked with Mercedes-Benz AG/DaimlerChrysler AG in business and systems development. In 1992, he was appointed Director of Global IT (CIO) for Debis Financial Services, the services division of Daimler Benz. In 1996, he took over as Director of Processes and Systems (CIO) for Financial Services in Asia/Pacific, located in Singapore. As Director and Vice President of Operations & IT he moved to Tokyo in 2001 and served 3 years in the local finance company of DaimlerChrysler Services.
