Dr. Hamdy is a founder of the company and a co-inventor of Actel's PLICE antifuse technology. He became Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations in 1996 and has held a number of management positions within the company's technology and development group. Previously, Dr. Hamdy held various positions at Intel Corporation, and was responsible for device development and design of the CMOS process used in DRAMs and 386 microprocessors. He holds a master's degree in applied science and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. |
