Mr. Cockrell is chairman of Cockrell Interests, a private investment company. He is a member of the All-American Wildcatters’ Association and is past Chairman of the Houston chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Cockrell serves as President of The Cockrell Foundation, a private charitable foundation, and is a director of the Greater Houston Foundation, The Welch Foundation, and the Cullen Trust for Health Care. He serves as Vice Chairman of The Methodist Hospital System, Houston, and is Vice Chairman of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Center Board of Visitors, Houston. He is a former Chairman of the board of trustees of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and of The University of Texas College of Engineering Foundation Advisory Council. Mr. Cockrell holds a BS degree in Engineering and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. |
