As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Erika Rottenberg is responsible for SumTotal's worldwide legal operations. Prior to joining SumTotal Systems, Rottenberg was vice president, strategic development and general counsel of Creative Labs, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd., a publicly-traded company and worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet. Prior to Creative Labs, Rottenberg was associated with the law firm of Cooley Godward in its Silicon Valley offices, where she practiced corporate and employment law for technology companies.
Rottenberg received a juris doctor degree in 1992 from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor of science degree in education in 1984 from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
