My best and most rewarding experiences at the Buckle are when someone whom I've hired becomes successful. In this job, I try to identify and hire individuals who will be valuable contributors to the team. And it's great when it happens! I try to help teammates turn their talents into strengths and cultivate their abilities. For instance, I hired one young man when he was a teenager and after several promotions, he is now leading one of our Seattle stores! Instances like this make me realize that I'm doing more than just helping a company; I'm getting a chance to affect peoples' lives in a positive way.
