Erik R. Kunz, Vice President - NorthMarq Capital, Inc., formerly a Principal of Baird & Warner. Mr. Kunz is a 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a B.A. degree in Real Estate/Urban Planning. Upon graduation, Mr. Kunz joined Baird & Warner's Finance Group, where he was active in loan origination.
In January 1988, Mr. Kunz left Baird & Warner and joined Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance's Real Estate Investment Division in Chicago. Specializing in first mortgage loan originations, his production volumes topped over $200 million of all property types. Mr. Kunz' responsibilities also included servicing a $1.0 billion portfolio with over 250 properties.
In January 1996 - 1998, Mr. Kunz joined St. Paul Federal Bank Income Property Division as a loan officer and did over $100 million in commercial mortgage loans. The focus of lending for this bank was multi-family properties.
Mr. Kunz has closed nearly 200 loans as a mortgage banker (greater than $600 million) and has sold several commercial properties.
Mr. Kunz is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager and is involved in other non-for-profit organizations. |
