Eric Kirby is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Merkle's Interactive Services group. In this position, Kirby is responsible for developing the division's future direction and growth.
Prior to joining Merkle, Kirby held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of DoubleClick's Email Solutions division, one of the nation's largest email service providers. While at DoubleClick, Kirby oversaw the strategic direction of the business unit, expanded the division's professional services offerings, and developed key industry partnerships.
Kirby has been a leader in the email marketing services industry since its inception and has successfully co-founded two e-mail firms, Veripost and Assurance Systems, both of which were later acquired by Return Path. Earlier, Kirby served as Vice President of Interactive Services at Brierley+Partners, a customer relationship marketing firm in Dallas and as a Consultant with Kestnbaum & Company, a database marketing consulting firm in Chicago. Kirby holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. |
