Mr. Glassman is currently a member of the Bridge Wind Down Team for Durango Georgia Paper Company. Prior to filing for bankruptcy, the Company had annual revenues of $270 million and produced a variety of paper products.
Representative Matters
Interim Chief Financial Officer for the Bridge Crisis Management Team serving AstroPower, Inc., an international alternative energy company serving the solar power industry. AstroPower, Inc had annual pre-petition revenue of $60 million and was listed on the NASDAQ exchange.
Head of the Bridge Accelerated Strategic Assessment Team, which evaluated the operational performance and financial controls for a Midwestern real estate development company with $60 million in annual revenues. The Company operates 20 large apartment complexes and five full-service long-term care facilities.
Member of the Wind Down Team for Conseco Finance Corp., a sub-prime lender and servicer of mortgage portfolios with assets of approximately $25 billion.
Prior to joining Bridge, Mr. Glassman was Chief Financial Officer of CCAI, Consulting Inc. a large computer consulting firm specializing in the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Mr. Glassman was a key member of the team during the three-year financial restructuring of the Company.
Mr. Glassman was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DIY, a company which operated retail, warehouse-format home improvement centers targeting do-it-yourself home repair and remodeling customers. DIY’s annual revenues were approximately $200 million.
Mr. Glassman was the Assistant Treasurer and Controller at Be-Mac Transport Company, Inc. a financially troubled $90 million annual revenue motor carrier, engaged in less-than- truckload operations, with more than 50 U.S. locations. Mr. Glassman joined this company to relocate its Accounting Department and to assist in the overall restructuring program.
Mr. Glassman was Controller and Office Administrator for Photoco, Inc., a national manufacturer/distributor of photo, video and audio equipment with annual revenues of over $12 million. In that position, he was in charge of all of the Company’s administrative and accounting functions.
Mr. Glassman began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, rising to Senior Manager within 10 years. He managed a wide variety of corporate audits and financial reviews for a variety of public and private concerns.
Mr. Glassman earned his degree in Business Administration Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and is a Certified Public Accountant.
