Eric Bergeron was born in Saint-Felicien, Quebec. After graduating from Laval University in 1993 with a B.A. in Industrial Relations, Mr. Bergeron joined Tembec and was assigned to the Nouvelle, Gaspe, sawmill. In 1996, he was appointed Human Resources Manager for the Abitibi-Temiscaming Division of the Forest Products Group. Mr. Bergeron subsequently held various positions of increasing responsibility, including until recently the position of Corporate Human Resources Manager, Pulp and Paper Group. He was appointed Vice President, Human Resources on February 1, 2006.
