Eric M. Pillmore is senior vice president of corporate governance for Tyco International. He assumed this newly-created position for Tyco International in August 2002. From July 2000 to July 2002, he served as the senior vice president, CFO and secretary of Multilink Technology Corporation. Pillmore worked for General Instrument Corp. (GI) from 1996 to 2000, and served as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer from December 1997 to January 2000, leading up to the sale of GI to Motorola. From January 1994 to February 1996, Pillmore was the CFO for the Plastics Americas division of the General Electric Company (GE). Prior to that, he served as the CFO for GE Medical Systems Asia, Ltd., in Tokyo, Japan. In addition, he worked in various financial positions for GE from 1979 to 1991, including six years as a corporate auditor. He also served as a US Navy officer from 1975 to 1979 aboard the USS Robison in the western Pacific, and as an auditor with the Naval Audit Service in Washington, D.C. Pillmore is a 1975 graduate of the University of New Mexico and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Andersen School of Business.
