Eric M. Leeds was appointed Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, in November 2004.
Mr. Leeds' experience spans three decades in investment management and investor relations. Prior to joining PRIMEDIA, Mr. Leeds served as executive director of investor relations consultancy G. A. Kraut Company Inc., and had been investor relations counsel to PRIMEDIA since 1998.
Beginning his career at Lehman Brothers as a buy-side analyst for an original member of the Buffett Partnership, Mr. Leeds served in portfolio management and asset gathering capacities at E. F. Hutton, Chemical Bank Asset Management, and Republic Bank Asset Management. While at Republic, Mr. Leeds was an investment policy committee member. His investor relations experience ranges from IPOs and small-caps to DJIA and CAC 40 components. In the late 1990s, Mr. Leeds served as the primary investment community spokesperson for public companies majority held by John W. Kluge.
A graduate of New York University's business school, Mr. Leeds obtained additional education at the New York Institute of Finance and the American Management Association. He was a founding advisory board member of Institutional Investor Magazine's Journal of Strategic Investor Relations and has served on Standard & Poor's advisory council. |
