Erez Meltzer, 49, has served as a director of Alon since August 2006 when he was appointed by the Board to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors resulting from the resignation of Mr. Pinchas Cohen. Mr. Meltzer is the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Israel Investments Ltd., a position he has held since August 2006. From December 2001 to August 2006, Mr. Meltzer served as the president and CEO of Netafim Ltd., an international company specializing in irrigation and agricultural water technologies. Mr. Meltzer is also a director of Alon Israel, Blue Square-Israel, Ltd. and Blue Square Real Estate Ltd. |
