Ms. Delpit has developed a practice that includes a variety of litigation and business law issues. Her business law practice varies from assisting oil and gas clients with offshore title examination to assisting commercial real estate developers with acquiring income-producing properties. Her litigation docket is generally composed of casualty, business and energy litigation matters. She has worked extensively on matters involving oil & gas regulatory litigation and administrative proceedings, including royalty disputes and expropriation proceedings. As a commercial litigator, she developed an extensive motion practice, experience in effective brief writing, and oral argument at the appellate level. Ms. Delpit previously served as Senior Counsel in the legal department of Entergy, a Fortune 500 company that provides utility service to customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. While with Entergy, Ms. Delpit handled numerous personal injury claims arising from vehicular accidents and ownership of electric and gas facilities. She also successfully defended personal injury and wrongful death matters stemming from alleged exposure to natural gas and the power company’s policy and procedure for termination of electric services.
