Emory Berry is a CPA and MBA who brings 19 years of financial and operational leadership experience with private and public firms in the hi-tech and healthcare industries. Prior to joining TechCFO since 1999 Emory led the finance and operations at DVT Corporation as CFO where he managed the sale of the company to Cognex Corporation a publicly traded global leader in machine vision systems for $115 million in 2005. Emory has spent the past year assisting Cognex with the financial and operational integration of DVT. Prior to joining DVT Emory was the CFO at Firearms Training Systems a publicly traded worldwide leader in simulated weapons training systems. Emory’s experience also includes serving as corporate controller of EquiMed a publicly traded healthcare physician practice management company which he assisted in taking public as both EquiVision and EquiMed. Emory began his career at Ernst & Young where he specialized in serving the healthcare manufacturing and real-estate industries. |
