Dr Díaz is board-certified in anatomic pathology. After earning her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, Dr Díaz completed a residency at the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Ga, and went on to complete a fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. Dr Díaz was the specialty director for gastrointestinal pathology at DIANON Systems in Florida from 1999 until 2007. She is a member of both the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Dr Díaz has authored numerous articles in gastrointestinal pathology. |
