Ms. Maffey is responsible for all aspects of the company's administrative operations and financial processes. Emily served as BB&T Capital Markets|Windsor Group's CAO from September 1999 until their acquisition by Scott & Stringfellow, Inc. in 2005. At that time she became Director of Operations and Finance for the Equity Capital Markets Division. She has nearly thirty years of experience in accountancy. Prior to joining BBTCM|WG, she held a supervisory position at Yount, Hyde & Barbour, a regional accounting firm headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, and served as Operations Officer and Staff Accountant at Tanner and Tanner, a local accounting firm based in Morgantown, West Virginia. Emily is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS with Honors from Fairmont State University. She is a member of the Virginia Society of CPA's, American Institute of CPA's, and is active in community organizations that stand against domestic violence and social injustice. |
