Mr. Mendes brings to SDI four decades working at the forefront of development in Israel’s leading technology industries. Currently serving as CTO of Syro Technologies and Intelijoint and GM of E.M.E., Mr. Mendes previously spent a decade as Amcor’s General Manager and Chief Electronics Engineer and Head of Phototherapy Dept. developing and producing computer-based products for medical diagnostics. Before that he was Manager, Electronic Hardware Dept. at ECI Telecom responsible for the development and production of multifunctional communication systems for land, air and sea applications. As Astronautics’ Chief Engineer he managed the R&D dept. developing military equipment for Air and Armored Fighting Vehicle applications, and prior to that he spent 23 years at Tadiran Communications where he was R&D Manager responsible for the development of military communication systems. After serving as a Major in the IDF Paratroopers, Mr. Mendes began his professional career with 14 years at Tadiran Semiconductors holding positions of Manager, R&D and Applications and Marketing Manager with overall responsibility for R&D, Sales and the SL Planning Center. He is also Israeli National Pistol and Rifle Target Shooting Champion. Mr. Mendes holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Israel’s Technion |
