Ms. Ruff president of Duke Energy Carolinas joined Aqua America's Board of Directors in August 2006. She sits on the Board's Executive Compensation Committee.
As president of Duke Energy Carolinas Ruff directs one of the nation's leading electric utilities which serves more than two million customers in North Carolina and South Carolina. Ruff has been with Duke Energy since 1978 when she joined the company as an attorney. A native of Hartford Connecticut Ruff earned a B.A. in business from Simmons College and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association the American Bar Association and the North Carolina State Bar. |
