Elizabeth Brunsvold serves as Government Affairs Coordinator for the firm and has worked in the Public Finance Department of Chapman and Cutler LLP since 2004. Based on her extensive knowledge of state government operations, Ms. Brunsvold provides strategic advice, monitoring of legislation, research, policy analysis, and advocacy services to public and private sector clients on a wide range of areas. Additionally, she works closely with members of the legislature, their staff, and appropriate executive branch appointees to help her clients advance their interests in the public arena. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brunsvold served as finance director for the Republican State Senate Campaign Committee from June 1997 until November 2004. In addition, Ms. Brunsvold established ECB Consulting in 1998 to advise clients on government, corporate, public relations and fundraising matters. She provided counsel to a variety of clients ranging from major corporations to not-for-profit organizations on client strategy, legislative and regulatory affairs, executive positioning, media management, resource procurement, fundraising, conference and meeting management, legislation monitoring and crisis communication. From September 1994 until June 1997 she held a position on the Senate Republican Staff where she served in a number of capacities including the Committee on State Government Operations and Executive Appointments Committee. |
