Ms. Taliaferro has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer since August 2005. Prior to that she was Senior Vice President Corporate Development and Information Technology since November 2004.
Ms. Taliaferro began her career with Penn Central Corporation as a Senior Analyst in Corporate Development and in 1986 was named Director of Financial Controls. In 1991, she joined Carol Cable as a Vice President of Operations Analysis and Inventory Management. In 1992, she became Controller for the Consumer Products Group of General Cable, moved on to Director of Systems Analysis for the Corporation in 1994 and then to Senior Vice President, Customer Integration and Supply Chain for General Cable in 1998. In February 2002 she was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Industrial and Specialty Products.
Ms. Taliaferro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College and Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. |
