Elizabeth W. Beth Reese was named vice president, finance, in July 2007. She is responsible for financial budgeting and analytics for the corporation and its subsidiaries.
In November 2004, Reese was named vice president of customer service. In that capacity, she was responsible for managing service for 2.2 million customers in the six states served by AGL Resources. This included overseeing all call center operations, customer logistics, credit and collections, and supporting technology. Reese has successfully deployed several key customer service initiatives. She also assisted as executive sponsor in leading the roll out of related support systems and processes and has worked tirelessly to provide a platform for the long-term success of our customer service vision. Since joining AGL Resources in November 2000, Reese has also served as vice president, finance and business innovation, and vice president and controller.
Reese has an extensive background in financial management and accounting. Prior to joining AGL Resources, she held the position of senior manager for the worldwide accounting and consulting firm of Deloitte LLP. She serves on the board of directors for CHRIS Kids, a community-based multi-service mental health treatment organization for children and families.
A native of Maryland, Reese received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College and her master’s of accountancy from the University of Georgia. She also completed a study abroad program at the University of Stirling, Scotland. |
