Elizabeth Taylor MeHaffey is TIMCO's Vice President of Legal Affairs. She comes to TIMCO from the law firm of Brooks Pierce McLendon Humphrey & Leonard, LLP, where she concentrated her practice in the areas of private equity investments, secured transactions and tax. She is admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
In 2001, Elizabeth co-authored North Carolina Secured Transactions Under Revised Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. She earned a Juris Doctorate with High Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a published staff member of the UNC Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. She began her undergraduate study at the Georgia Institute of Technology, playing on Tech's women's tennis team. Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Originally from Tennessee, Elizabeth now lives in Burlington, North Carolina, with her three children, Katy, Shuler and Dylan. |
