Eli Greenstein was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1975. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego in 1997, his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University's School of Law in 2001, and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business in 2002. Mr. Greenstein served as an associate editor for the Santa Clara Computer and High Technology Law Journal in 2000-01. In 2000, Mr. Greenstein externed for the Honorable James Ware, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of California, San Jose Division.
Mr. Greenstein's primary practice area is complex securities fraud litigation. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2001.
