Eileen Kamerick joined Heidrick & Struggles in June 2004. As CFO, she is responsible for financial reporting, investor relations, treasury, tax, strategic planning and M&A on a worldwide basis. Previously, she was Executive Vice President and CFO of Bcom3, parent company of Leo Burnett and Starcom Media, following the sale of Bcom3 to Publicis, SA.
Eileen has served as a senior legal and financial executive for several Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Bcom3, she was Vice President and CFO, BP Amoco Americas, following the merger of British Petroleum, p.l.c. and Amoco. Prior to the merger, Eileen served as Vice President and Treasurer of Amoco.
During her tenure at Amoco, Eileen led many significant international transactions, including joint ventures and financing in Asia, Europe, Africa and South America. She also served on the boards of BP Solar Company and Vysis, a biotechnology company formerly owned by Amoco. Before joining Amoco, Eileen practiced law with the firm of Skadden, Arbs, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she concentrated on the areas of securities law and M&A.
Education
Eileen graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College, received a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, and holds an MBA with honors in finance and international business from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago. She also completed postgraduate work at Exeter College, Oxford University.
Additional Information
Eileen serves on the boards of directors of ServiceMaster, a national service company serving both residential and commercial customers, and of Westell Technologies, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors of Information Resources Inc. prior to its acquisition by the Symphony Group.
In addition, Eileen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago; the Senior Businesswomen's Forum; and the Mid America Club. She also served as the honorary chairperson for the 2001 American Cancer Society Walk & Roll Chicago fundraiser. |
