In the most recent role of his distinguished career, Ed Gillis was senior vice president of administration and integration at Symantec Corporation. In this capacity he directed the integration management office, information technology, and global operations. Gillis joined Symantec through the company’s merger with VERITAS Software, where he was executive vice president and chief financial officer overseeing the company’s financial management, information systems, corporate services, and human resources. Prior to VERITAS, Gillis was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) and the chief financial officer for Lotus Development Corporation. Before joining Lotus, Gillis spent 15 years with Coopers & Lybrand as a certified public accountant and general practice partner in its Boston office, where he was responsible for the firm's software industry group |
