Edward Malandro is Senior Vice President of Retail Banking for Sun National Bank.
In this position, Mr. Malandro leads Sun’s Retail bank, which includes more than 70 locations in New Jersey and New Castle County, DE, and serves as a member of the bank’s senior management team. He focuses on increasing market share, deposits and loans, as well as maintains efforts for customer retention and product development, all resulting in enhanced customer and shareholder value. He also oversees the bank’s Marketing and Facilities Departments and manages the bank’s branch network.
Additionally, he manages Sun Financial Services, LLC, a collaborative effort with INVEST Financial Corporation. In this role, Mr. Malandro works with a team of licensed representatives to provide investment services to Sun National Bank customers.
A seasoned banking professional, Malandro brings more than 20 years of banking experience to Sun. Prior to joining the bank in 2001, he accrued 14 years of management experience with First Union National Bank (formerly CoreStates, First Pennsylvania and Philadelphia National Bank) that included product marketing and retail product management. Also with First Union, he held the positions of manager of Deposit Processing, banking officer, assistant vice president of Retail Product Services, vice president and Mass Market Segment manager, Deposit Pricing manager, and ultimately, vice president of Deposit Services for First Union’s northern region.
Additionally, Mr. Malandro has demonstrated strengths in product development, strategic and tactical planning, merger and acquisition analysis, and financial analysis and budgeting.
Malandro earned a bachelor of arts in Economics and Business Administration from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. |
