With respect to the transcription service and the use of the digital recording device I was issued from Sten-Tel, I have found it is extremely useful in obtaining statements from witnesses and or drivers from motor vehicle accidents. With witnesses and or drivers unable to complete a hand written statement, Sten-Tel has proven to save the investigating officer time by not having to travel to local emergency rooms for statements and by obtaining valuable eye-witness accounts at the scene, before they leave without the officer obtaining necessary information. I believe that this program should be continued. |
