Edward M. Vavro, Jr. is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Transportation Law and General Litigation. Mr. Vavro is a member of the firm’s Transportation Group. He has litigated numerous catastrophic losses involving commercial vehicles in federal and state courts both locally and nationally. Mr. Vavro is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, Pittsburgh Traffic Club, and Trucking Industry Defense Association. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Court, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Vavro is a frequent lecturer on insurance coverage issues and transportation law. Mr. Vavro graduated from Duquesne University in 1993 with a B.A. in Psychology. He received his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University in 1997. |
