Edward F. Thompson has been a director of our company since December 2003. Prior to joining our Board of Directors, Mr. Thompson was a consultant to the Audit Committee of our Board of Directors beginning in June 2003. Mr. Thompson has served as a senior advisor to Fujitsu Limited and as a director of several Fujitsu subsidiaries or portfolio companies since 1995. From 1976 to 1994, Mr. Thompson served in a series of management positions with Amdahl Corporation including, from August 1983 to June 1994, chief financial officer and secretary of Amdahl and from October 1985 to June 1994, chief executive officer of Amdahl Capital Corporation. Mr. Thompson holds a Master of Business Administration degree in operations research from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Illinois. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. Mr. Thompson is a member of the board of directors of Stratex Networks, Inc. and ShoreTel, Inc. |
