Edward F. Feighan has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Century Surety Company since October of 2003. He also serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of ProCentury Corporation, the parent company of Century Surety Company. Prior to joining Century, Mr. Feighan was Managing Partner of Alliance Financial Ltd., a merchant banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, from 1998 until 2003. In addition, he served as President of Avalon Corporation, the holding company for a workers’ compensation insurance agency from 1998 until 2000. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Feighan was President and CEO of Century Business Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBIZ), an outsourced professional business services provider. Mr. Feighan served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1973 to 1978, Cuyahoga County Commissioner from 1979 to 1982, and a member of the United States House of Representatives from Ohio from 1983 to 1993. In 1979 he received a Presidential Appointment and Commission from President Jimmy Carter to serve on the National Advisory on Economic Opportunity Mr. Feighan holds a J.D. from the Cleveland College of Law and an undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. |
