Edward F. Lange Jr. joined BRE as chief financial officer in July 2000 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in January 2007. He is responsible for all finance and accounting functions investor relations and corporate communications and information technology.
For more than 16 years Lange has held senior financial executive positions in the real estate healthcare and financial services industries. Prior to BRE Lange was the chief financial officer of Health Care REIT Inc. (NYSE:HCN) of Toledo Ohio a company with a specific investment focus in senior housing. At Health Care REIT Lange helped to reposition the company and recapitalize its balance sheet raising more than $1.0 billion in external capital.
Lange holds an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the University of Massachusetts. |
