Edward E. (Ted) Legasey, who has been with SRA since its founding in 1978, was elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors in November 2003. Prior to this election, Legasey served as the company's executive vice president and chief operating officer. He has extensive experience with services and solutions across the information systems life cycle. Throughout SRA's history, he has held a variety of leadership roles in helping to build the company's consulting and system integration capabilities, business solutions, and reputation for technical excellence.
Before joining SRA, Legasey managed automated data processing and resource management studies at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This followed a distinguished Air Force career in which he worked on large logistics management systems for the Air Force Logistics Command and directed software test and evaluation on the B-1 flight test program at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
Legasey is active in various industry associations, business roundtables, and boards. He is a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Professional Services Council; board chair of the U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates; a past president and director of the Air Force Academy Society of Washington, DC; and has served on the board of directors of Mantas, Inc., Vega Corporation, and Picture Network International, Inc.
