Mr. Thompson has over 25 years of Product Development/Management experience and holds 10 US and International Product Design Patents in the field of Security Technologies. Mr. Thompson joined DVTel in 2002 as VP of Product Management, and as such focused on DVTel’s product development to create its award winning family of open standards IP solutions including Latitude NVMS, SceneTracker AVT, iSOC and an industry leading suite of over 100 IP camera models. As CTO, Mr. Thompson will provide the key focus to identify and leverage emerging technologies that further advance and differentiate the value of DVTel’s innovative solutions to our customers.Previously, Mr. Thompson was Director of Technology Development for Tyco/Sensormatic’s Video Products Division where he was responsible for the development of Sensormatic’s industry-leading Matrix Systems and Dome Camera product lines targeted at government, industrial, gaming and retail markets. As a key member of Sensormatic’s Video Steering Committee, Mr. Thompson was instrumental in developing the company’s advanced digital architectures. |
