Currently interim CFO of Avaya and former CFO, Veritas, Parametric Technology & Lotus: From November 2007 to present, Mr. Gillis served as senior vice president and interim chief financial officer of Avaya, a global leader in communication systems. July 2005 to December 2005, Mr. Gillis served as senior vice president of administration and integration of Symantec Corporation, a provider of infrastructure software. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Gillis served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Veritas Software Corporation, a provider of software to enable utility computing. From 1995 to 2002, Mr. Gillis was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Parametric Technology Corporation, a supplier of mechanical design and manufacturing software. Mr. Gillis was a former partner at Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. and a certified public accountant. Mr. Gillis also serves as a member of the board of directors of BladeLogic, Endeca Technologies, Inc. and Teradyne, Inc. Mr. Gillis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University, a Masters in International Relations from the University of Southern California, a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. |
