As CFO, Ed Durkin is responsible for all the financial operations and business development efforts at Incipient. Durkin brings to Incipient more than 20-years of financial management experience at public and private technology companies. Prior to Incipient, Durkin was vice president and CFO at Sockeye Networks. Prior to Sockeye, Durkin was CFO at Open Market (NASDAQ: OMKT), where he oversaw all finance, investor relations, human resources and information systems functions, until the company’s acquisition by Divine, Inc. Before Open Market, Durkin was vice president and CFO at Radview Software, where he directed the company through its successful Initial Public Offering, raising $37 million. Previously, Durkin served as vice president and CFO at StarBurst Communications Corporation prior to its acquisition, and was director of finance and administration at CrossComm Corporation, a position he assumed after a ten-year career at Ernst & Young, LLP. Durkin earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, graduating cum laude. |
