Dwight Howard joined SSSI in February 2000 and now leads our manufacturing technology focus area. He was directly responsible for developing and implementing SSSI’s Quality Management System, based on the ISO 9001:2000 standard, and he qualified the division as a quality producer for the Department of Defense. Under his leadership, the manufacturing division completed more than 700 government and civilian contracts with no late deliveries and 100 percent customer satisfaction.
Before joining SSSI, Mr. Howard completed a distinguished 29-year career in the U.S. Air Force. He attained the highest enlisted grade of Chief Master Sergeant and was recognized as the USAF Outstanding Munitions Manager and Missile Manager of the year. He currently is a member of the Okaloosa County Economic Development Board and the Florida Workforce Development Board. |
