Dustin has served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Research since FlowCardia's inception in 2002. Dustin has a wide-ranging experience in the medical device regulatory and clinical arena. He has been instrumental in initial clinical testing and gaining commercial approval for several novel cardiovascular products including AAA stent grafts and distal embolic protection devices. Previously Mr. Michaels served in Regulatory and Clinical management roles at PercuSurge and AneuRx. Both companies have been acquired by Medtronic and their products remain within Medtronic's current product portfolio. Dustin holds a BS degree in Chemistry from Kent State University in Ohio. |
