Duane was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December of 2005. His prior responsibilities included corporate budgeting, asset/liability management, deposit and loan pricing, and product profitability while in the role of Asset/Liability Management Manager. He also served for five years as the controller of Rurban Financial Corp.
Additionally, Duane has been an active participant in the management team of The State Bank and Trust Company, the Corporation’s lead bank. He has also served as a member of Rurban’s strategic planning group over the last few years.
With his 16 years of experience and financial expertise, Duane is a great asset to Rurban in achieving the company’s strategic goals. He is a true leader and manager with a strong ability to improve productivity and profitability.
Duane earned his Bachelor Degree from The Defiance College, holds several certificates from the OBL and ABA, and has completed numerous banking related courses. He is active in the community as a member of the United Way finance committee and has supported several non-profit charity events.
Duane is married, the father of three daughters and resides in the Rurban community footprint. |
