Drew has spent 24 years in the telecommunications industry in a number of general management and functional leadership positions. He spent 20 years at Verizon and its predecessors, where he was most recently CEO of a venture- and Verizon-backed e-telco start-up. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development for Verizon and Bell Atlantic, and held a number of executive positions in Marketing, Sales, and Operations, as well as Chief Executive in charge of NYNEX Vermont and the General Manager of the NYNEX business unit around greater Boston. He also served on the Board of two Bell Atlantic Subsidiaries. Drew left Verizon in 2000 to become Chief Operating Officer of MCK Communications, a publicly held VOIP gateway company, where he was responsible for engineering, manufacturing, customer support, marketing and business development. He joined the Lavastorm team in December of 2001. Drew is an honors graduate from Dartmouth College. |
