Mr. Reiferson is a shareholder and director and heads the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Reiferson has worked on matters for clients on a national and local basis. He has represented institutional lenders and banks in the financing of multifamily and commercial real property and ground leases, including shopping centers, retail condominiums, assisted living facilities, office buildings, low income housing and mixed use properties located throughout the United States. Mr. Reiferson also has significant experience in syndicated TIC transactions and creditors’ rights. Mr. Reiferson’s clients include conduit lenders and lenders under the Fannie Mae DUS Program and Freddie Mac Program Plus as well as commercial loan services. Mr. Reiferson has also represented clients in the acquisition of real property including a portfolio of regional golf courses and distressed assets. Prior to joining Cantor Arena, P.C., Mr. Reiferson was a partner at Troutman Sanders, LLP. Education: Mr. Reiferson received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1990 and earned his law degree from Emory Law School in 1994. After law school, Mr. Reiferson worked for Chief Judge Paul Mannes of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.
