Mr. Kotarek is a trial lawyer, and has been practicing law since 1988. His current practice focuses on workers’ compensation, employment law, and general civil litigation. From 1988 to 1992, Mr. Kotarek practiced insurance defense litigation in New Mexico. He handled all types of insurance defense matters, ranging from workers’ compensation to medical malpractice. Since 1992, Mr. Kotarek has practiced in Colorado exclusively in workers’ compensation and employment law. Mr. Kotarek is fluent in spanish. Mr. Kotarek is the head of Hall & Evans' Workers' Compensation Department. He is currently on the Legislative Committee of the Colorado Self-Insurers’ Association, and lobbies the Colorado legislature on the Association’s behalf regarding workers’ compensation legislation. He also advises self-insured businesses throughout the state on workers’ compensation issues. He is on the Advisory Committee for the Colorado Civil Justice League, Workers' Compensation Group. And, he is a member of the Steering Committee of the Workers' Compensation practice group of ALFA International. |
