Mr. Johnson joined Sheldon Good & Company in 1993 as a Broker/Sales Associate. He ascended to Senior Vice President in 1998, and subsequently became the youngest broker to be named Partner in the firm’s history. Throughout his tenure with Sheldon Good & Company, he has focused his expertise in real estate investment sales, with aggregate sales totalling several hundred million dollars. His client base includes Fortune 500 companies and corporate America, financial institutions, developers, the hospitality industry, REITs, home builders, business owners, and private sellers, as a broker and consultant.
His proven expertise in marketing and negotiation have been instrumental in the successful sales of properties nationwide, including hotels, golf courses, resorts, apartment complexes, office campuses, shopping centers, industrial and commercial properties, development land, multiple-unit residential, trophy homes, and marinas.
Mr. Johnson has been the driving force behind the sales of many notable investment and commercial properties. He is one of the founders of the firm’s highly successful Hospitality Division, with recent sales of hospitality industry properties totaling over $100 million dollars.
He is widely quoted as an expert regarding the benefits of selling via the real estate auction. A frequent speaker on the subject, he has addressed professional and trade organizations locally and regionally. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles that have appeared in real estate columns for various trade publications.
Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the Arizona State University School of Business. He is a licensed real estate broker or sales person in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and North Dakota. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, Chicago Association of Realtors®, and is a candidate to obtain the prestigious CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute. |
