Douglas H. Olin joined the Greenwich office of Cummings & Lockwood in 1999 and became a principal in the firm’s Private Clients Group in 2001. His practice focuses on estate planning, family business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Doug speaks frequently on estate and tax planning topics to both lawyer and non-lawyer audiences. Doug received his B.B.A. in accounting, with distinction, in May 1990 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended New York University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1993 and his LL.M. in Taxation in 1995. Doug is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York and is a member of the Connecticut, New York and Greenwich Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County. Doug was a 2006 recipient of the Fairfield County Business Journal 40 under 40 Award which recognizes extraordinary business leadership and success in the field of law. Doug serves on the Board of Finance of The Weston Field Club, in Weston, Connecticut where he resides with his wife and two children. |
