Doug focuses his practice on commercial bankruptcy and business reorganization matters. His experience includes workouts and commercial bankruptcy proceedings for a wide variety of debtor and creditor clients, including representations of debtors-in-possession, official and unofficial committees of creditors, bondholders and debenture-holders, and banks and institutional investors. Major cases in which Doug has actively participated include: Friede Goldman Halter, Inc. (debtor), Forceenergy, Inc. (debtor), Paracelsus Healthcare (debtor), Westcap Corp. (creditors’ committee), Ninfa’s (creditors’ committee), Grant Geophysical (creditors’ committee), Megafoods (equity holders’ committee) and Westmoreland Coal (equity holders’ committee).
